The most important thing about creating art should be the aesthetic experience. Otherwise, what's the point---where is the joy in creating?
Our first aesthetic art experiences as children were visual I am sure--then kinesthetic---think about making mudpies...I can still remember what mine looked like when I put those red holly berries on top!
